SHIPS EARLY APRIL
A concentrated dishwashing paste designed for the everyday.
Effective, gentle, and intentionally made to belong in considered homes.
Housed in a reusable ceramic bowl, AROA Dish Paste is a low-tox alternative to liquid dish soaps - without the harshness, the waste, or the neon colours.
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate
A gentle, coconut-derived cleanser that creates a creamy, stable lather. It effectively lifts grease and food residue while being milder on hands than traditional dish detergents.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine
Another coconut-derived cleansing ingredient that boosts foam and helps balance the formula. It supports effective cleaning while keeping the lather soft and easy to rinse.
Limonene
A naturally occurring compound found in citrus peels. It gives the paste a fresh, light citrus scent and helps cut through grease.
Our formula is designed to be gentle for everyday use. However, everyone’s skin is different. If you experience irritation, discontinue use and consult a professional if needed.
We strive to process and ship all orders in a timely manner, working diligently to ensure that your items are on their way to you as soon as possible. Need to return something? Just let us know.
A concentrated clean
A little goes a long way.
Our paste is highly concentrated, meaning you use less, far less often. Simply dampen your sponge or brush, swirl lightly, and wash as usual. It cuts through grease with ease, rinses clean, and lasts significantly longer than conventional liquid detergents.
No fillers. No excess water. Just what’s needed.
Gentle on hands and dishes. Tough on grease.
Many dish pastes available overseas rely on aggressive surfactants, heavy dyes, and abrasive formulas often bright purple, yellow, or green. Effective, perhaps, but harsh on hands and unnecessary for everyday use.
AROA is different.
Soft on hands
Non-abrasive on dishes
Effective without irritation
Clean dishes shouldn’t come at the cost of your skin.
Concentrated and effective
Gentle on hands, non-abrasive
Septic and hard-water safe
Why a paste?
Liquid dish soaps are mostly water, packaged in plastic, and used quickly.
A paste is concentrated, long-lasting, and designed to stay on your bench — not under it.
This format has existed overseas for years, often in harsh, brightly coloured versions. AROA is the first of its kind in New Zealand to bring this concept into a softer, more considered form.

That’s it.

Hands that don’t feel stripped
Dish paste is a concentrated alternative to liquid dish soap. Instead of squeezing product into the sink, you lightly load a wet sponge or brush directly from the paste. Because it contains far less water, it lasts much longer and creates less waste.
It’s simple, effective, and intentionally minimal.
Both are low-waste alternatives to liquid dish soap, but they work differently.
A dish soap bar is fully solid and usually needs to be rubbed directly onto a sponge or dish. Some bars can wear down quickly, feel awkward to use, or struggle with grease and hard water.
AROA Dish Paste is a soft, concentrated paste. You simply swirl a wet sponge or brush over the surface, then wash as usual. Because it’s concentrated and water-light, a little goes a long way and it lasts much longer.
The paste format is also gentler on hands, non-abrasive on dishes, and designed to rinse clean — even in hard water.
It offers the low-waste benefits of a bar, with the ease and effectiveness of a liquid.
Because AROA Dish Paste is highly concentrated, one bowl lasts significantly longer than a standard bottle of liquid dish soap.
Exact lifespan depends on household size and usage, but most people find they replace it far less often than liquid detergent.
Because it’s a concentrated, low-water product, the surface may change slightly with use. This is normal and doesn’t affect performance.
If it becomes dry on top, a small splash of water and a gentle swirl will soften it again.
AROA Dish Paste is made in New Zealand and proudly New Zealand owned.
